The Latest from Apple

New York, October 30, 2018

After a video dedicated to the New York lifestyle to the sound of ?I Happen To Like New York? (by Judy Garland), Tim Cook, CEO of Apple, took the stage at the Brooklyn Academy of Music, to introduce us to the much-anticipated fresh batch of Apple products.

The long-awaited Macbook Air

The new Macbook Air was entitled to the first minutes of the presentation: after a retrospective full of statistical data about the success of the equipment around the world, a new model in the range was revealed. The most loved model in the range, the Macbook Air, this year there was a change in appearance and an addition of features that made a strong ?wow? sound.

Let's start with the Retina Display, a feature long awaited and requested by fans, which arrives now with 4 million pixels (four times more than an HD screen) that take images to a level of detail and realism never before achieved by the brand. Furthermore, the 13.3-inch screen extends to the edges, which are now 50% thinner, resulting in a computer with an immersive and simply stunning screen, with a splash of 48% more colors than its predecessor.

Another new feature on Macbook this year is Touch ID. The system that we are already so accustomed to now arrives on this laptop, implemented in its keyboard, and Apple guarantees users increased security when carrying out actions such as unlocking their device, authenticating a document or paying for an order online, through their new Apple T2 Security Chip.
I give an honorable mention to your keyboard new generation, which has 20% more area on the touchpad, supporting even more user gestures. In addition to all the features mentioned, the implementation in this new release of a Thunderbolt 3 (USB-C) input and the fact that Apple opted for a construction made from 100% recycled aluminum, in an attempt to reduce its carbon footprint.

Finally, as we look inside the new Macbook we find a latest generation Intel Core i5 processor, an SSD disk of up to 1.5TB, RAM memory that goes up to 16GB and a battery that according to Apple, it will guarantee you 12 hours of use. All of this will cost from $1,199.

The new Macbook mini

The Macbook Air is not the only new member of the family, having also been introduced as ?the most powerful Macbook Mini ever?. This ?beast?, as it was affectionately nicknamed by Apple, comes equipped with an eighth generation Intel i3 processor, quad or hexa-core, 2TB flash memory, a new cooling system, four Thunderbolt 3.0 ports, HDMI and ethernet connections 10GB. Furthermore, this pet accepts up to 64GB of RAM, and it can be yours for $799, starting November 7th.

The New iPad Pro

We have finally arrived at the latest product announced by Apple, the long-awaited and rumored iPad Pro. Presented as ?the biggest change since the presentation of the original?, the new iPad arrives with a liquid retina system , also present on the iPhone everything you need, however you hold it?. Despite a screen with a larger area, the new iPad is smaller than its predecessor and even thinner, at a stunning 5.9mm.
As expected, the iPad lost the Home button and also has a Face ID system, created for safe and fast unlocking and payments, both in mode landscape as in < i>portrait mode.

Under the hood, we find the most powerful and intelligent chip Apple has ever made ? the A12X Bionic. Let's look at some numbers: 8 cores, 7 nanometer technology, 5 trillion operations per second, graphics twice as fast and (allegedly) faster processing than 92% of computers on the market. This makes the new iPad an ideal tool for multi-tasking, play immersive games and even indulge in virtual reality.

The new Apple tablet also has a memory of up to 1TB and a USB-C input, which makes it possible to connect to external devices, such as monitors and cameras , much easier and, in addition to this, it makes it possible to charge an iPhone via the iPad. It's true, if you need a power bank, you can always opt for the new iPad Pro! You have to give up 799-1749 dollars, depending on the model you choose. The recent iPad is accompanied by the new Apple Pencil, which now responds to your touch and attaches to the device magnetically for wireless charging.

To finish with a flourish, new apps and projects were announced such as Assassin's Creed Brotherhoo Dd, which promises to pull on the device, running at 120 FPS, NBA 2K19, which according to the brand offers animations at 60 FPS, impossible to obtain on any other device mobile, and Project Arrow, an editor of images in augmented reality, which allows the user to create and draw animations in real time and have the result literally in front of them.

To conclude the event, Apple's CEO took the stage again to announce iOS 12.1, which supports video communication between multiple users and brings 70 new emojis.
