Ambassador program: become a Shaper
Are you a university student who would like to be part of the growth of our startup? Do you believe that the world should be more sustainable and do you have the motivation to make that happen? Do you want to gain skills, an incredible network of contacts and learn how a real business works? Then you have everything you need to become one of our ambassadors ? or, as we call it, one of our Shapers.
Being a Shaper at Forall Phones means belonging to an international community of university students who want to learn and change the world with us. Shapers help us promote our brand; they sell our smartphones and receive a commission for doing so; participate in projects that aim to catapult the company's growth or contribute to a more sustainable world. Shapers have access to incredible national and international events; training and mentoring with our employees; Forall Phones' exclusive merchandising and a system of commissions and points that compensate them in sales and engagement. If everything goes well, shortly after joining the program you will become a leader and manage your own team of Shapers. This leadership experience gives you a 360º perspective of what you need to recruit, motivate and manage people to reach their maximum potential ? essential skills for any job you want to have in the future.

| Any student enrolled in a higher education institution and under 25 years of age. Someone with an incredible desire to learn and help us change the world. | |
| I am accepted as a Shaper, what happens next? | |
| If you are confirmed as one of our Shapers, you will be allocated to one of our teams according to your geography. Your onboarding will begin ? which includes aWelcome Session with your team?s Team Leader, an Bootcamp (online) of initial training and some training complementary products also online. The onboarding process will give you everything you need to know to be an excellent Shaper! In addition, you will receive the Shaper Playbook ? the bible of Shapers that will help you a lot during your experience with us. Shortly after onboarding ends, you will have the opportunity to participate in your first national event ? ??the Meetup ? where you will meet lots of people and receive your welcome kit. | |
| What does a Shaper do on a daily basis? | |
| A Shaper has two main activities: sales and projects. Sales means that you will promote our smartphones in your contact network or in advertisements (we use Facebook Marketplace a lot, for example). Projects means other initiatives with us (find out below). Additionally, it's normal to have meetings or team activities (your team will have around 10 Shapers) regularly. As you progress in your journey as a Shaper, more opportunities will arise for you ? from being a trainer to coordinating social projects. It's normal that at the beginning you're more focused on sales, as soon as you prove to us that you know the business and want to do more, other opportunities will arise. The workload is low, but the learning opportunities are immense! | |
| How do Shapers sales work? | |
| Shapers sell mainly through their contact networks or through ads on social networks or marketplaces (e.g. Facebook Marketplace or OLX). Each Shaper has a promocode that gives a ?10 discount on any Forall Phones phone. For each phone that Shapers sell, they receive a commission of ?10 to ?15 depending on the quantity sold. In addition, they earn points that they can later exchange for merchandising (e.g. a Forall Family hoodie) or our products. Don't you have the slightest idea how to sell? It?s okay ? at the beginning of your experience, you will have training and support to give you all the tools you need. The sales experience is a fantastic opportunity to develop skills such as communication, negotiation and customer management. | |
| What projects can I participate in? | |
| We call them Squadsand they are projects that you can do with us. Some examples of what we have done: creating a new website for Forall Family; creation of webinars for Shapers; organization of events about sustainability at universities ? Plan A; design and content creation projects, among others. To participate in a project you will have to apply. If selected, you will join an international team managed by a full-time Forall Phones employee. You will have training and specific support in the development of the project, which normally lasts one to two months. | |
| How can I become a Team Leader? | |
| You can apply for a Team Leader position. As Team Leader you will have many more responsibilities and interact daily with the Community team (full-time Forall Phones employees). You will recruit, motivate and manage people to reach their maximum potential. To do this, you will have specific training for leaders and access to lots of resources and methodologies that we use at Forall Phones. Don't worry, we have everything ready to make you a fantastic leader! | |
| How will I increase my network of contacts? | |
| You will belong to an international community of hundreds of people. When you participate in our initiatives or events you will always be in contact with many other people from different geographies, backgrounds and ambitions. Meetups are perfect opportunities for this. But you won't just get in touch with other university students ? you'll meet Forall Phones employees and interact with speakers and external guests. A good network of contacts is worth its weight in gold these days! | |
| What will I learn? | |
| In general, you will work on your results orientation, knowledge of how a high-growth startup works and what you can do to make the world more sustainable. Through sales you will develop skills such as communication, negotiation and customer management. In projects you will learn about specific areas and catapult your teamwork. As a leader, you will learn a lot about people management and all the essential processes for building and managing a high-performance team. You will have access to initial training, but also to Shaper Academy ? a digital library that teaches you more about some skills. Later you will also have training with Forall Phones employees and even access to a mentoring program. In all of our Meetups we include a training component. At Forall Phones we are all very young and what we want most is to learn. | |
| How can I become a Shaper now? | |
| To apply, you just need to submit the questionnaire (in the link above). You will be contacted by us for a short 30-minute interview (online or in person) where we want to get to know you better. You don't need specific preparation for this interview, just make your motivation clear and take a look at what Forall Phones is and does. (reading all the questions/answers above is a smart strategy) After the interview you will be contacted to find out the result. | |
