From the new iOS 16, through iPadOs, watchOS,< strong> tvOS or macOS, all operating systems are presented in this great event for developers.

Therefore, it is normal that there is already some information about the new versions of the new iOS 16, one of the main ?focuses? of Apple. Just this week, possible iPhones compatible with the new iOS 16 were announced, and now the introduction of a feature has been revealed that will certainly be introduced in the new iPhones and that we have known for some time from other devices: the Always On Display.

This functionality has been seen on other smartphones for some time, however it is more used on watches, and is nothing more than an ?always on screen?, in direct translation. This feature allows us to always see information on the screen, something already present in most Android smartphones and which, it seems, will take the spotlight this year to the iPhone.

The information was released by Mark Gurman - Bloomberg journalist and a common appearance on our blog - who released the information in his ?Power ON? newsletter. According to Gurman, one of the new features of iOS 16 is support for Always-on Display, which should be introduced in the iPhone Pro range.

This feature allows you to see notifications and other information on the screen, without having to turn on the device. Always on Display has been talked about for the iPhone for some time now, and it looks like it will be coming to Apple products this year.

According to what Gurman disclosed, iOS 16 should also include improvements in the way the operating system handles multitasking and windows. Apple is probably working to allow iOS users to be able to resize application windows. This is a feature that would be particularly useful on the iPad. Gurman says he also expects the company to add new social networking features to its Messaging app.
