According to the Brand Finance Global 500 index report, the manufacturer of best-selling iPhones is worth around 306.1 billion euros, which represents a growth of 35 %in relation to the previous year. The podium is completed by the e-commerce giant Amazon, valued at 302 billion euros, and Google, valued at 227.1 billion. Both grew 38% and, together with Apple, are worth more than 835 billion euros.
As in previous years, the top 10 is 80% dominated by technology companies, such as Microsoft, Samsung, Facebook, Huawei and Verizon. In between, the retail giant Walmart (rose to 5th place) and the Chinese bank ICBC (in 8th) appear.
North American companies continue to dominate the top spots in the table, which also includes two Chinese brands (Huawei and ICBC) and one South Korean (Samsung) . The first European to be present on the list is the German Mercedes-Benz (dropped to 15th).
In global terms, the United States and China represent two thirds of the companies represented in this ranking, with India gaining ground, with growth of 42% .
The report highlights that the Chinese social network TikTok was the company that showed the fastest growth (215%), moving directly into 18th place with a quotation of 50 .9 billion. It should also be noted that Tesla, owned by Elon Musk, the richest man in the world, came in 28th (39.7 billion).
